Data are provided on tourism jobs held by residents of Greater Manchester Combined Authority, Sheffield City Region, and Yorkshire and The Humber. Where possible, data are broken down by local authority. Please note that the tourism definition has been set by the customer, and is not an official Office for National Statistics definition.
Tourism has been defined by the customer as comprising the following Standard Industrial Classification (SIC 2007) divisions:
55: Accommodation
56: Food and beverage service activities
79: Travel agency, tour operator and other reservation service and related activities
91: Libraries, archives, museums and other cultural activities
92: Gambling and betting activities
93: Sports activities and amusement and recreation activities.
