Estimates of the proportion of relationships where the man earns more than their female spouse or cohabiting partner, the earnings are equal, or the woman earns more than their male spouse or cohabiting partner. Figures are drawn from the Annual Population Survey, based on the Household Reference Person only where both gross weekly wages are known.
