Annual Survey of Hours and Earnings (ASHE) – Estimates of Earnings of Higher Education employees 2017 to 2018

Estimates of gross weekly pay, basic weekly pay-including other pay, gross hourly pay and gross hourly pay excluding overtime and matched sample growths for the Higher Education sector by specified SOC groups, including those covered by a national agreement.

Higher education employees are defined by SIC 854 with legal status 5 (central government) or legal status 7(non-profit body).

Figures are given separately for all, full-time, part-time, male and female employees for gross weekly pay, basic weekly pay-including other pay, gross hourly pay, gross hourly pay excluding overtime and the gender pay gap. The coefficients of variation are also provided.
