GVA excluding oil and gas (06) (Index):CVM

A processing error was discovered in the datasets and time series related to the GDP first quarterly estimate, UK: April to June 2020 release. The error affected GVA excluding oil and gas (CDIDs KLS2, KLH7,KLH8 and KLH9) for Quarter 2 2020 in tables A2 and B1 of the data tables, the associated time series and the pdf tables attached to the statistical bulletin. This was due to a processing error in the creation of these datasets. We have now corrected for this.

The issue publishing the full series of the following CDIDs has now been resolved and is available in both our time series dataset and the GDP data tables: AAXW, CTVT, CTVU, JJDC, JJDH, JJDS, JJDU, JJDZ, JJG4, KSP3, KSP4, KSP5, KSP6, KSP7, KSQ2, KSQ3, KSR5, KSR6, KSR7, KSR8, KSR9, KSS4, KSS5 and LGCN. We have corrected a processing error that only affected our Total gross operating surplus of corporations series for Quarter 1 (Jan to Mar) 2024 to Quarter 1 2026. Total GDP and any other breakdowns are not affected by this.

This affected Table 3 in this bulletin, and the gross domestic product (GDP) data tables and timeseries. The affected datasets are CGBZ, KH4V, KH4W, and KH4X. We have reviewed our processes and updated them accordingly, to mitigate the risk of this reoccurring. We apologise for this error.
