A minor error occured in the processing of the annual Index of Services (IoS) weights update. The new weights were not copied over at the time of release but this has now been corrected and the new weights have been added to the dataset.
Please note all other series within IoS were unaffected. Apologies for any inconveniance.
Please also note that the following CDIDs: L4WA, S2LK, S2C6, S22Q, S27G, S2GU that all relate to industry 65.3: Pension Funding will no longer be updated and do not feed into the Index of Services as the industry weight is zero. For more information please see the IoS release.

We have corrected an error in the Index of Services time series dataset due to a processing error. The previous version was incorrect because it had incorrect Gross Value Added Weights (GVA). These were not updated to be consistent with the Blue Book 2025 GVA weights. All calculations which require GVA weights aware not impacted as latest weights have been used in these calculations. Therefore no estimates are impacted.
