We have corrected an error in the index of production time series. The previous version contained incorrect growth rates for non-seasonally adjusted data. This was because of a technical fault during processing. This error did not affect the seasonally adjusted data of the time series.

We have corrected an error in this dataset due to a processing error. The previous version had incorrect export turnover data for UK SIC 2007 industry '10.5 - Manufacture of Dairy Products' for February 2024 and March 2024. No other industries or months are impacted by this error and it does not impact headline aggregates.

We have corrected two errors in the Index of Production time series dataset due to a processing error. The previous version was incorrect because it had:
Incorrect Gross Value Added Weights (GVA). These were not updated to be consistent with the Blue Book 2025 GVA weights and still displayed Blue Book 2024 GVA weights. All calculations which require GVA weights are not impacted as latest weights have been used in these calculations. Therefore no estimates are impacted.
Incorrect monthly IoP data from 1948 to 1968. These were not rebased to a 2023=100 basis and were still displayed a 2022=100 basis as per the previous monthly publication. Please note periods after 1968 are not impacted and the annual and quarterly data are correct.
