Retail sales, Great Britain: January 2026

Beth sydd yn y bwletin?

  • The quantity of goods bought (volume) in retail sales is estimated to have risen by 0.1% in the three months to January 2026, compared with the three months to October 2025.
  • Retail sales volumes are estimated to have risen by 1.8% in January 2026, following a rise of 0.4% in December 2025 (unrevised from our previous publication) and a fall of 0.4% in November 2025 (revised down from a 0.1% fall in our previous publication).
  • Growth in January 2026 was partly because of artwork and antiques sales, alongside continued strong sales from online jewellers.
