A strength of the Opinions and Lifestyle Survey (OPN) is a robust methodology and commitment to high-quality data. Following comprehensive research and testing, a new, innovative approach to sampling was adopted on the survey from April 2018. This approach, as well as a change in mode of collection from face-to-face to online collection with an alternative of telephone interviewing, means that the survey will continue to offer high-quality data at a reduced cost.
