This is money left over after expenditure associated with income, for example taxes, social contributions, property ownership and provision for future pension income. It should be noted that these estimates relate to totals for all individuals within the household sector for a region rather than to an actual average household or family unit. GDHI per head estimates give values for each person, not each household.
