Pre-release access list

An information note examining available data on the difference between the registration of National Insurance numbers to adult overseas nationals, and International Passenger Survey estimates of long-term international migration. This note includes early release of the short-term international migration estimates, which will be released on 26 May 2016.

The phrase 'Pre-release Access' refers to the practice whereby official statistics in their final form, and any accompanying written commentary, are made available to an eligible person in advance of their publication. The rules and principles which govern pre-release access are featured within the Pre-release Access to Official Statistics Order 2008.
