  • Consumer price inflation item indices and price quotes

From March 2025, we'll be introducing grocery scanner data into headline consumer price inflation (CPI) measures. This introduction will affect the publishing of the consumer prices item indices and price quotes microdata, including discontinuing quote-level microdata for the groceries market. So that we can consider and best meet user needs when making any changes, we're seeking your feedback to better understand how you have used these microdata.   Please share your feedback by [completing this short questionnaire](https://consultations.ons.gov.uk/external-affairs/user-needs-from-cpi-microdata), which is open until Wednesday 23 October 2024.
