Could I please request the data set of total Covid deaths January 2020 to mid January 2021 by age group in 1 or 5 year integers.
Could I also request the break down of all deaths from January 2020 to mid January 2021 where Covid 19 was the only cause , or the primary cause of death registered on the death certificate. Could this information also contain the patient age , be this group by 5 year integer or by year.

In order to provide you with Covid-19 deaths by age group in 1-year integers in addition to a breakdown showing COVID-19 with no underlying causes, we would need to create bespoke analysis, which we are not obligated to do under the Freedom of Information Act 2000. We therefore consider this to be information not held. However, the information you have requested may be available to commission as bespoke analysis. Such services would be subject to legal frameworks, disclosure controls, resources and agreement of costs.
