I am looking for information on the prevalence of Tourette Syndrome (TS)/ tic disorders (TD) in the UK. I have searched your site, but can only find numbers related to the prevalence of ASD.
Children/ Young People
- How many children/ young people [aged up to 16 years (or 18 years)] have been diagnosed with TS/ TD in the UK each year from 2015 - 2020?
- Is it possible to identify the age at diagnosis?
- Is it possible for this information to be broken down to each of the four UK nations? (This is not essential, but would be helpful).
- How many of these children/ young people have also been diagnosed with the following co-morbidities?
- Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
- Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD)
- Attention Deficit (Hyperactivity) Disorder (ADHD)
- Anxiety disorders
- Depressive disorders

- How many adults [aged 16 years (or 18 years) and over] have been diagnosed with TS/ TD in the UK each year from 2015 -- 2020?
- Is it possible to identify the age at diagnosis?
- Is it possible for this information to be broken down to each of the four nations? (This is not essential, but would be helpful).
