You asked

Please supply the data for the mortality in England following COVID-19 vaccinations (within 28 days of vaccination) of all ages only for the year 2021 up to date.

We said

Thank you for your enquiry regarding deaths and the COVID-19 vaccination.

For deaths involving COVID-19 or all cause deaths after receipt of the COVID-19 vaccination, we hold the following analysis, Deaths involving COVID-19 by vaccination status, England: deaths occurring between 2 January and 2 July 2021, which is an analysis of deaths involving COVID-19 by vaccination status that occurred between 1 January and 2 July 2021 in England.

This publication includes weekly age standardised mortality rates for deaths involving COVID-19 by vaccination status and a detailed analysis of deaths involving COVID-19 which occurred in fully vaccinated individuals.

To note, we do not hold analysis broken down by 28 days after vaccination. We have used 21 days after vaccination as this is when the vaccine starts being effective.

Table 1 shows count of deaths involving COVID-19 and percentage of all deaths by vaccination status, England, deaths occurring between 2 January and 2 July 2021

This is the latest analysis we hold; whilst we now hold mortality data up to October 2021, we have not yet completed analysis on this. We are planning a future publication which has a provisional release date of 1 November 2021. The final publication date will be announced on our Release Calendar.
