Please provide any statistics you have on the increase of Ground Rent, which is based on RPI.

Thank you for your enquiry.
Unfortunately, we do not publish statistics on ground rent. However, we do publish the UK House Price Index, which contains estimates of changes in average house prices over time, including flats.
Please note, the Retail Prices Index (RPI) is not a good measure of inflation, at times greatly overestimating and at other times underestimating changes in prices and how these changes are experienced. The RPI does not meet the required standard for designation as a National Statistic. In recognition that it continues to be widely used in contracts, we continue to publish the RPI however we strongly discourage its use.
