To find out the population of women aged 40 to 60 living in the UK in the years 2009 to 2019:

1. Open the NOMIS website by clicking on the link.
2. Select query data
3. Select Population Estimates/Projections
4. Choose population estimates - local authority based by single year of age (1991 to 2020)
5. Choose the geography
   • Countries
   • Some
   • United Kingdom
6. Date
   • Choose the years you require
7. Choose the age you require
   • Untick the all ages arrow
   • Click the ages you require
8. Choose the sex you require
   • Untick the total column (unless you require it)
9. Choose summary selections (check your choices)
10. Format/Layout
    • Choose Microsoft Excel
11. Download data and save the file produced
