Under the Freedom of Information Act of 2000 (the Act), I am writing to request information regarding the electricity procurement of your Ministerial Department. I have made similar requests to all Ministerial and Non-Ministerial departments of HM Government.
In order to assist you with this request, I am outlining my query as specifically as possible. I would like to receive information about:
- The company or entity from which your Ministerial Department procures (and previously procured) its electricity
- The amount (if any) of the procured electricity which comes (or came) from renewable energy sources, but not in the form of Renewable Energy Guarantees of Origin (REGO) certificates

At the Newport, Titchfield and Christchurch ONS sites, our supplier of electricity is EDF Energy.
Due to the way our electricity is purchased, via Crown Commercial Services (CCS), we do not hold information on the amount of procured energy that has come from renewable energy source at an ONS level. You may be able to obtain this information at a Framework level from CCS. Please see the following link to their Contact Form.
