I would like to know the number of deaths of people under 60 for any reason since the vaccine rollout, by vaccine status.

We hold the following analysis, which provides all cause deaths, deaths involving COVID-19 and deaths not involving COVID-19 by age band and vaccination status: Deaths by vaccination status, England. Data is available from April 2021 to December 2022 within this output.
Table 5 provides monthly breakdown of all cause deaths by unvaccinated and ever vaccinated categories by age group. Using information from this table, we provide the following table showing deaths by Ever Vaccinated status and Unvaccinated status from April 2021 to December 2022.

.xls .csvThe "Ever vaccinated" category includes anyone who has received at least 1 dose of a vaccine, regardless of further doses. These figures are absolute numbers and do not give a useful indication of mortality risk for each age group by vaccine status. To better assess this, we suggest you use the age standardised mortality rates by month and age group in table 2 within the release. These rates take into account the size and age structure of each group; for example, the fact that the number of unvaccinated people is much smaller in each group than the number of "ever vaccinated".
Note, previous iterations of this publication used Census 2011 data rather than the Census 2021 data used in the release referenced above. Census 2021 data is more representative of the current population because it includes people who migrated since the 2011 Census, and children born since between the 2011 and 2021 Censuses. However, one limitation of making this switch means we cannot include figures for January 2021 to March 2021. This is because the Census was undertaken in late March 2021 and it is only possible to follow this cohort up over time from that point onwards.
