Please could you give me the total deaths for the years 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021 for each of England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland.

We are responsible for the production of mortality data for England and Wales, this is driven by information collected from the death certificate at death registration. National Records Scotland (NRS) and Northern Ireland Statistics and Research Agency (NISRA) are responsible for statistics pertaining to Scotland and Northern Ireland.
In collaboration with NRS and NISRA, we publish headline data for the UK in the following publication: Vital statistics in the UK: births, deaths and marriages. The latest data available for the UK as a whole is for 2020.
2021 data for the UK is provisionally scheduled to be released in December 2022, with the final publication date announced on our Release Calendar.
Data for England and Wales for 2021 can be found in the following publication: Deaths registered in England and Wales.
