Unfortunately, we do not hold turnover statistics broken down by type of work for the construction industry or the information requested on Value Added Tax (VAT).
However, we do publish total value of work in current prices for public and private new house building and for public and private housing repair and maintenance. Please see the data in Table 4 in our Output in the construction industry dataset for these statistics, which cover 1997 to 2022. These are estimates of the amount of output chargeable to customers for building and civil engineering work done in the relevant period, excluding VAT and payments to subcontractors. Please note that this is different to turnover, which is the amount received by the business for services provided or goods sold during the period, excluding VAT. This dataset will be subject to revisions as per the National Accounts Revisions Policy.
Turnover data is available for the Construction industry as part of the Annual Business Survey publication, in our Non-financial business economy, UK: Sections A to S dataset. However, this data is classified by Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) and not by the type of work you requested.
