Cost of management of procurement processes by the public sector in the past decade

You asked

I am writing to you under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 to request data on the amount of money spent on the management of procurement processes by the public sector in the past decade.

Please answer my request by providing me with:

  1. The total value of money spent by the public sector on the management of tenders, each year, since 2011.

  2. The total value of money spent by the public sector on the management of other procurement processes, each year, since 2011.

Please could you provide all this information in Excel format.

We have interpreted your request for Public Sector spend as ONS spend. Unfortunately, we do not hold a breakdown of the value spent broken down into Management of Tenders /Management of other procurement processes, as we do not collect the time/value spent on the individual tasks of the Procurement staff. Therefore, we do not hold the requested information.
