Age range within deaths due to COVID-19 vaccine

Please can you clarify that the 9 deaths in the above FOI are from all ages, and not solely from the 12-17 year old cohort.

Thank you for your request.

We have amended the wording on this published FOI to reflect that the analysis covers all ages and is not specific to the 12-17-year-old cohort.

There are no deaths registered under the age of 35.

To update your request, with the publication of October's monthly mortality analysis.

There are currently 13 deaths registered in England and Wales with the aligning ICD codes for this, 9 of these deaths have ICD10 U12.9 as the underlying cause.

Due to the small numbers involved, we are unable to provide any further disaggregation of this data, however, please note that these are deaths across all age groups since the rollout of the vaccination in December 2020 and there are no deaths registered under the age of 35.
