Please supply how many people died within 28 days of receiving a booster or vaccine between the dates of 25th December 2020 and 25th December 2021.

Thank you for your request.
Unfortunately, we do not hold the analysis requested for within 28 days of receiving a booster or vaccine between the dates of 25 December 2020 and 25 December 2021. To produce this data would require a high level of statistical skill and judgement including complex data linkage of the National Immunisation Management Service (NIMS data) to the mortality data in order to create a bespoke analysis or table. Under the Freedom of Information Act 2000, Public Authorities are not obligated to create information in order to respond to requests. We therefore consider this to be information not held.
However, we do publish age-standardised mortality rates and age-specific mortality rates for deaths involving COVID-19, non-COVID-19 deaths and all deaths by vaccination status in our monthly reports. You can find deaths within 21 days of receiving the first and second dose of a COVID-19 vaccination in tables 1, 2 and 3. Our next release on 4 February 2022 will include booster vaccinations.
