I am submitting the following FOI request(s):
- Breakdown of UK retail revenue by age group (ideally 18-24; 25-34; 35-44; 45-54; 55+).
- Breakdown of UK e-commerce retail revenue by age group (ideally 18-24; 25-34; 35-44; 45-54; 55+).
- Breakdown of UK e-commerce apparel (clothing, footwear, accessories) revenue by age group (ideally 18-24; 25-34; 35-44; 45-54; 55+).
- Average spend per year of UK consumer on apparel (clothing, footwear, accessories) by age group (ideally 18-24; 25-34; 35-44; 45-54; 55+).
- % of amount spent per UK consumer on apparel that is purchased online / on smartphone by age group (ideally 18-24; 25-34; 35-44; 45-54; 55+).
Please could I receive the information for each of 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022 and 2023.

Unfortunately, we do not collect UK retail revenue by age group. Our retail sales survey does collect total retail turnover with a breakdown of sales generated via the internet also available.
Total retail sales by industry are available in Table ValNSATD of the Retail sales pounds data.
Internet retail sales by industry are available in Table 3 (non-seasonally adjusted data) or Table 4 (seasonally adjusted data) of the user requested dataset: Internet Retail Sales by Sector January 2024.
Retail sales data are collected and published by retail industries. Annual retail business turnover with a commodity breakdown are published alongside our Non-financial business economy release.
Within our Family spending in the UK release, data are available on household expenditure by age of household reference person. This can be found in Table A11 of the Dataset: Family spending workbook 1.
