Please supply the weekly deaths by sex, age and cause for England and Wales in 2021.

Thank you for your request.
We publish weekly deaths by age and sex in our weekly deaths dataset. For deaths registered in 2021, please select the 2021 edition of this dataset. This dataset provides weekly cause breakdowns for diseases of the respiratory system, COVID-19 deaths and influenza and pneumonia.
We do not hold other weekly analysis for breakdowns by other causes. However, we can produce analysis for you as a bespoke request if you can provide us with further information on causes that you are interested in. Special extracts and tabulations of mortality data for England and Wales are available to order (subject to legal frameworks, disclosure control, resources and agreements of costs, where appropriate).
Such enquiries would fall outside of the Freedom of Information regime and should be made to: Health.Data@ons.gov.uk.
Alternatively, we do publish monthly breakdowns of leading causes of death, this can be found in table 11a and 11b of our monthly mortality analysis.
