I would like to make a freedom of information request to obtain answers to the following questions:

  1. What is the total number of criminal allegations reported in the Cannock Chase District for the years 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021 and 2022?

  2. What is the total number of criminal prosecutions in the Cannock Chase District for the years 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021 and 2022?

  3. What is the total number of successful criminal prosecutions, I.e. resulting in conviction, reported in the Cannock Chase District for the years 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021 and 2022?

  4. What is the total number of criminal allegations reported in Heath Hayes and Wimblebury for the years 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021 and 2022?

  5. What is the total number of criminal prosecutions in the Heath Hayes and Wimblebury for the years 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021 and 2022?

  6. What is the total number of successful criminal prosecutions, I.e. resulting in conviction, reported in the Heath Hayes and Wimblebury for the years 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021 and 2022?

  7. What is the total number of criminal allegations reported in Hawks Green for the years 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021 and 2022?

Can I please have the above with a breakdown of the type of offence, i.e.- offences against the person etc.

Unfortunately, we do not hold the information you have requested. The ONS publishes figures on the levels and trends of crime in England and Wales primarily based on two sets of crime statistics: the Crime Survey for England and Wales (CSEW) and police recorded crime data.

Data on criminal allegations reported to the police may be held by the Home Office. You can contact them at the following email address: CrimeandPoliceStats@homeoffice.gov.uk.

Criminal prosecution data is collated and stored by the Ministry of Justice (MOJ) as they collect data on the criminal justice system. The most recent publication of their criminal court statistics quarterly: January to March 2022 contains data regarding prosecutions of offences. You may need to request the specific geographies you are looking for, this can be made via email at ESD@justice.gov.uk.
