I have found child deaths for the period March 2020 to May 2021. Do you have an updated dataset which covers up to present day please?

Thank you for your enquiry.
We publish provisional deaths from age 0-19 within the Deaths registered Weekly publication in England and Wales. This publication is updated every Tuesday. Data is available up to September 2022. Please note, this data is provisional and subject to change due to the inclusion of late registrations which are deaths which have been referred for coroner investigation.
Data for 2020 and 2021, including late registrations is available on our NOMIS webservice with disaggregation by 5-year age band available for selection.
Stillbirths are published annually as part of our Births publication, accessible via the following link: Births in England and Wales: summary tables. The latest available data is for 2021.
We also publish the following analysis with the latest publication covering deaths that occured in 2020: Child and infant mortality in England and Wales and Unexplained deaths in infancy, England and Wales.
