Please provide all correspondence between the UK Statistics Authority and the Scottish Government, including Ministers (and their offices) and Civil Servants, 1st January 2020 - date.

Correspondence between the Scottish Government and the Authority and OSR is published on our websites at the addresses below.
In addition to this, you requested all correspondence between all officials over a period of three years. This information is exempt from disclosure under Section 14(1) of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 (FOIA).
The request made is very broad in scope and would require a substantial amount time and resource to collate correspondence from many areas of our business. Once collated, further significant resource would need to be dedicated to the redactions of personal data in order to comply with UK GDPR regulations. Further resources would also be required to scrutinise the requested information to see if any FOIA exemptions need to be applied. Undertaking this task would place an excessive burden on our organisation.
This request is not a directed or purpose-led request for information surrounding a particular topic. On balance, we do not believe that its purpose is clear enough to justify the level of disruption that actioning the request would cause.
