We publish population estimates and the latest available are for mid-2019. These are available via the following link: Estimates of the population for the UK, England and Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland.
Please open the relevant Excel spreadsheet within the link and see the table named 'MYE2-Persons'. This provides data by single year of age for local authorities in the UK. There are also tables for females and males by single year of age.
