COVID-19 deaths and ethnicity:

Please see the following two publications, which provide estimates of mortality involving the coronavirus (COVID-19) by ethnic group and investigation of the explanatory power of hospital-based comorbidity on ethnic differences, building on previous models published by the Office for National Statistics:

Updating ethnic contrasts in deaths involving the coronavirus (COVID-19), England and Wales: deaths occurring 2 March to 28 July 2020

Coronavirus (COVID-19) related deaths by ethnic group, England and Wales: 2 March to 10 April 2020

The following publication may also be of interest: Monthly mortality analysis, England and Wales. This provides provisional death registration data for England and Wales, broken down by sex, age and country. This includes deaths due to COVID-19 and leading causes of death.
