I am writing to you under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 to request the above information, related to the serial killers, investigating the serial murder in the United Kingdom for the last 30 years (1992-2022).
If you can identify how my request could be refined, I would be grateful for any further advice and assistance. The information will be beneficial for my research and the project's outcome.

Unfortunately, we do not hold data explicitly related to serial murders, however you will find data on suspects convicted of homicide who have a previous homicide conviction. This can be found in Table 26 of our most recent Appendix tables: Homicide in England and Wales dataset of our Homicide in England and Wales: year ending March 2020 publication. You will find that our upcoming publication on Homicide for England and Wales in the year ending March 2021, will be released on 10 February 2022.
Please note that the data in the homicide appendix tables originates from the Homicide Index which is held by the Home Office. They may be able to assist you further and can be contacted via: CrimeandPoliceStats@homeoffice.gov.uk.
