Table 1 shows the percentage of the total number of households with children who are in each income quintile and table/figure 2 provides a slight variant on this measure, focussing on the relative position of households with children under 5 across the income distribution. Table 3 shows the percentage annual growth in median equivalised household disposable (net) income for those households with dependent children aged 0 to 4 years and the same series for non-retired households without dependent children, table/figure 4 has the two series indexed for comparisons over time (2006/07 = 100).
