Can you please list all deaths within the UK by age per month/year from when records have begun.

We are responsible for the production of mortality statistics for deaths registered in England and Wales. This is driven by information collected from death certificates at death registration. National Records Scotland (NRS) and Northern Ireland Statistics and Research Agency (NISRA) are responsible for statistics pertaining to Scotland and Northern Ireland. They can be contacted at foi@nrscotland.gov.uk and info@nisra.gov.uk respectively.
We have published analysis for showing monthly deaths for England and Wales from 1988 to 2019 via the following link: Monthly death registrations by age group and local authority, England and Wales: 1988 to 2019.
We have not produced monthly death registrations prior to 1988 because the month of registration was not always populated in the data. If this dataset does not meet your needs, we can produce a bespoke monthly deaths tabulation as far back as 1969 which would be based on month of occurrence rather than month of registration. Special extracts and tabulations of mortality data for England and Wales are available to order and are subject to legal frameworks, disclosure control, resources and agreements of costs, in line with our Charging Policy.
