NHS England publish data on the number of hospital admissions resulting from dog bites, obtained from their Hospital Episode Statistics dataset. If you have any queries about this data, NHS England can be contacted at england.contactus@nhs.net.
The People's Dispensary for Sick Animals (PSDA) produces an annual PAW Report, which may assist in assessing the dog population.
