Our comparison of weekly death occurrences article has now been included as part of the standard weekly deaths bulletin, available via the following link: Deaths registered weekly in England and Wales, provisional: week ending 25 September 2020. The main body of this analysis can be found under Section 7.
The article has been relocated here for accessibility, to provide users with additional context around the weekly death statistics.
The weekly death registration and occurrence figures along with the subsequent comparisons are updated every Tuesday at 9.30am.
