These are estimates from the Annual Business Survey (ABS) for 2018 and 2019. These estimates show average business energy expenditure for 3 and 4 digit Standard Industrial Classifications (SIC), and average business energy expenditure as a proportion of total purchases of energy, goods, materials and services. The Annual Business Survey covers Great Britain, and excludes the financial and insurance sector, public sector organisations and part of the agriculture sector.
