Teachers with COVID-19

Analysis on education staff, key workers and other professionals testing positive for COVID-19 was published in the following bulletin: COVID-19 Infection Survey UK, 6 November 2020.

A sample of school staff were tested as part of our School Infection Survey (SIS), the results of which are available via the following link for Round 1: School Infection Survey

Further analysis on infection rates in teachers would need to be created as bespoke analysis. Under the Freedom of Information Act 2000, Public Authorities are not obligated to create information in order to respond to requests. We therefore consider this to be information not held.

Unfortunately, we do not have any information regarding teachers becoming seriously ill with COVID-19.
