We are responsible for the production of mortality data for England and Wales, this is driven by information collected from the death certificate at death registration. For Scotland and Northern Ireland statistics please contact National Records Scotland and NISRA respectively, as we do not hold weekly mortality statistics for these countries.
However, we have been publishing weekly deaths for England and Wales from 2010 to 2020/2021 (provisional), which are available via the following link: Deaths registered weekly in England and Wales.
