Thank you for your request.

In order to ensure that we have fully answered your request, we would need to locate the requested information for every project and programme taking place in every business area of ONS. This amounts to roughly 400 projects. Furthermore, this request encompasses a number of activities and workstreams that have cohesive plans or schedule mapped out for them and the information would therefore need to be collated from a range of sources to build our response. This has been estimated that it would take several weeks to pull this information together. The cost limit for replying to a Freedom of Information request is £600 or 24 hours work, and in our view we would need to greatly exceed this in order to answer your request.

We would therefore request that you consider limiting the scope of your request to allow us to respond within the cost limit.

We would advise limiting the scope of your request to one particular area of ONS and, in addition, provide a clearer definition for what is meant by a project.
