Single person households by age in the UK

I would like to request data about people living alone in the UK by age and area. 

I would like this information by age group and borough. 

I am specifically looking to understand how many people live alone, by age in Derbyshire.

Univariate data (for one variable such as age or sex) for Census 2021 has been released via a series of Topic Summaries. Data on living arrangements and for age was released as part of the Demography and Migration topic summary on 2 

Multiple variable datasets were released on 28 March 2023. This release includes build your own functionality: Data combining multiple variables, England and Wales: Census 2021 

Please find in the associated download "Household composition by age Derbyshire" the data showing how many people live along in Derbyshire and their age. The highlighted rows show the number of single-person households by age. 

Multivariate data (two or more variables in a single dataset) such as age by household size was published during phase two of the Census 2021 outputs release schedule. We have introduced new functionality for Census 2021 data that will allow you to make your own datasets, as well as view and download ready-made datasets https://www.ons.gov.uk/datasets/create.
