If you could find the information could you put it on X (Twitter)?
There would be other sectors I would like figures about too.
Do you think the loss of footfall money in retail could have an affect on online loss for sales if not now eventually?

Retail value (amount spent) and volume (quantity bought) sales are published each month in the following publication: Retail Sales release.
Retail sales excluding automotive fuel are available from 1988, retail sales including automotive fuel are available from 1996. These are available in the datasets published alongside the release, the most recent data currently available is up to October 2023: Retail sales: October 2023 - related data.
You also requested for the information to be put on X(Twitter).
Our retail sales data are already disseminated through X(Twitter), and other social media channels at 7am each release. You can follow us @ONS.
