Please supply individual listing of the deaths in 15-19 year old males between May and Dec 21 to include:

  1. Date of death

  2. Cause of death

  3. COVID vaccination status and date

Unfortunately, we would be unable to provide you with deaths by specific age group, sex and vaccination status for the requested period of time, as you have requested individual level microdata containing a number of variables. Owing to the detail involved, this constitutes personal information. Section 39 of the Statistics and Registration Services Act 2007 renders our disclosure of personal information a criminal offence. As we are prohibited by law from publishing statistics in which individuals can be identified, Section 44 of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 (FOIA) applies. Section 44 is an absolute exemption and no consideration of the public interest test needs to be applied.

However, we do hold the following analysis Deaths involving COVID-19 by vaccination status, England - Office for National Statistics which looks at deaths by vaccination status for broader age bands. This publication will be updated on 4February 2022 to include booster vaccinations.

We are also undertaking an analysis of the deaths of young people following vaccination, which will be published in due course. Please keep an eye on our Release Calendar for this analysis
