National Records Scotland (NRS) and the Northern Ireland Statistics and Research Agency (NISRA) are responsible for statistics pertaining to Scotland and Northern Ireland. Provisional weekly death registration data for 2020 is available via the ONS weekly deaths bulletin. Weekly deaths are available in the 'weekly figures 2020' table, this is updated every Tuesday at 09:30.

The dates for this total are from Saturday 28 December 2019 (the first date of Week 1 of 2020) up to week ending Friday 1 January 2021 (Week 53).
