Complaints received by ONS: 342 (updated 18/3/21)
Complaints received by Adecco: 153 (updated 21/3/21)
Recruiting field staff for the census is a considerable undertaking at any time, and has been complicated this time by the ramifications of the COVID-19 pandemic. At the time of writing over 167,000 applications have been received making the number of complaints less than 0.3%. Any operation on this scale will inevitably have some teething problems but ONS and Adecco continue to work together to identify and resolve issues, with a view to ensuring the recruitment process is fair, accessible and efficacious.
