Looking at the various advertisements on the media and also personal text messages from local surgeries regarding the influenza vaccines I would like to try and ascertain the efficacy of these influenza vaccines (as we know the efficacy can vary very significantly from year to year).
Medical records show our vaccination status and so this information will be easily available to access so under the freedom of information act can you please give me the details on the following :
How many people died vaccinated for the Flu in the years 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020 and 2021?
How many died of the flu unvaccinated in the years 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020 and 2021?

We do not hold data on vaccine efficacy for the influenza vaccine.
The UK Health Security Agency (formerly Public Health England) have published Influenza vaccine effectiveness: seasonal estimates in the past. They may be better placed to answer your enquiry.
