The British Heart Foundation says there have been 30,000 excess cardiac deaths in England from the start of the pandemic to August 2022.
I would like to know:
Of the 30,000 excess cardiac deaths:
1. How many had no previous cardiac conditions?
2. Of those with no previous cardiac conditions, how many had been vaccinated (partly or fully) against Covid-19?

Unfortunately, we do not hold information showing the number of cardiac deaths by pre-existing conditions and vaccine status. In order to fulfil this request, we would need to conduct a complex data linkage exercise involving our mortality data and the National Immunisation Management system (NIMS) to create new information. Under the Freedom of Information Act 2000, public authorities are not obliged to create new information in order to respond to requests. This information therefore is not held.
