For the last reporting year, could you please identify the following:
Total number of firearms offences for the period
Total number of legally owned firearms involved in an offence for the period
Total number of illegally possessed firearms involved in an offence for the period
Further, how many firearms offences for the period were committed by asylum seekers and / or illegal immigrants?
How many firearms offences were committed by persons born in Albanian or Albanian citizens?

Unfortunately, we do not hold the data you have requested.
The most recent firearms data was published in the Other related tables alongside our quarterly publication, Crime in England and Wales: year ending September 2022. However, these do not include information on whether a firearms license was held or the personal characteristics of perpetrators of firearms offences. Although we publish firearms data, they are collated and provided to us by the Home Office. As such, they may be better placed to answer your query and can be contacted here: CrimeandPoliceStats@homeoffice.gov.uk.
