I would like to know the percentage of land ownership along the coastline and/or what percentage of the coastline is farmland.

Unfortunately, at the ONS, we do not hold data or publish information on land use. The Department for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities (DLUHC) publish data on Land use in England, which is available down to small geographic areas (Middle Layer Super Output Areas and Lower Layer Super Output Areas). If you have any questions about this data, please contact DLUHC by email at planning.statistics@levellingup.gov.uk.
We are not aware of any data published on land use for Scotland or Northern Ireland, but their planning teams may be able to support you with your enquiry. The contact email address for Scotland planning team is planstats@gov.scot and for Northern Ireland is ASRB@nisra.gov.uk.
