Please provide the data for COVID-19 infections in the postal area LA5 during October 2020.

I would be interested to know:

  • The infection rate per 100 000 in the postal area LA5 during October 2020.

  • The R number in the postal area LA5 during October 2020.

In the following dataset, Coronavirus (COVID-19) Infection Survey, accompanying our latest bulletin, you can find the following data for the period 2 to 16 October 2020:

  • Modelled daily positivity rates by region on tab 1f.

Due to small sample sizes, we only publish data at the regional level, as further disaggregation would be disclosive. The LA5 postcode region would contribute to data for the North West of England region.

Please note these are estimates from the COVID-19 Infection Survey. The Department for Health and Social Care produce the number of confirmed daily cases including by local authority in their dashboard here. More specific data for the LA5 postcode region will be located there.
