I would like to know from 2021 to the present day the reasons for deaths amongst vaccinated individuals.

We have produced analysis on Deaths by vaccination status, England for deaths occurring between 1 April 2021 and 31 December 2022. This analysis looks at deaths involving coronavirus (COVID-19), non-COVID-19 deaths and all deaths by vaccination status, broken down by age group. This is produced by the Health Analysis and Pandemic Insight division. We do not have access to the Public Health Data Asset containing vaccination information for Wales. Therefore, we do not hold the requested information for Wales.
Unfortunately, we have not conducted the requested analysis of deaths of vaccinated individuals broken down by cause.
The raw data we hold on hospital episodes is obtained from the Hospital Episode Statistics published by NHS Digital. We use this data to determine pre-existing conditions and general health of individuals. Our analysis using this data can be found on our Coronavirus (COVID-19) latest insights page.
In order to provide analysis showing a breakdown of causes of death of COVID-19 vaccinated people, we would need to use a high level of statistical skill and judgement to create new information This requires complex analysis linking vaccination records to death registrations. We also do not currently have an existing method for this linkage and would also need to use statistical judgement to ensure accuracy and implement necessary disclosure controls.
Under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 (FOIA), public authorities are not obliged to create new information to respond to FOI requests. Therefore, owing to the level of work involved in creating this information, this information is not held.
